3 MINUTES TO SEE THEM COME AND LEAVE - 15 SECONDS TO DRAW THEM

You start to see people about 100m away. They will have spent three minutes in your field of vision and travelled 200m. You have 15 seconds to see their faces. The more happens where you are, the longer you have. And things happen where either people come together or they run into each other. 1:20 scale for people. 1:150 for places.

VOIX DES ROCHEUSES - RAFTER SIX

I left work late Friday night, at 8, scrambling to catch up with our Choir Retreat at the Rafter Six in Kananaskis. I woke everyone when I arrived in the middle of the night, as I drove through the new snow - only to find French Bull Mastiffs patrolling the Ranch, and no way to let out either my dog or my cat, I had to throw in the car at that late an hour.

Needless to say I sang and sketched furiously this weekend, only to find, carefully tucked between my jacket and my bag, this sketch of the properties. Anonymously left to the care of someone who understood. And obviously by someone who cares intensely, for the place, knows exactley what they want and .... so it would seem, only need someone to draft it.

The rest of us kept busy with our practice and myself with my friends,

my new friends,

and the same love for the landscape.

In the meantime, I blended peace with serenity, and sketched as we sang.

My friends, and new friends, were kind enough to indulge me.
